This artwork by Shintaro Miyake achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2013. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Shinkai sold for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,884.61) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Shintaro Miyake; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Path to Egypt sold at auction in November 2011 with the realized price of HKD 412,500.00 (€ 39,462.39).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Shintaro Miyake erzielte im Juni 2013 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Shinkai für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.884,61) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Shintaro Miyake; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Path to Egypt im November 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 412.500,00 (€ 39.462,39).
