It achieved a price of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,534.19), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shintaro Miyake achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Path to Egypt in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 412,500.00 (€ 39,462.39).

Die Arbeit The Third Planet (Lines) von Shintaro Miyake kam im Dezember 2021 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.534,19) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shintaro Miyake erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Path to Egypt im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 412.500,00 (€ 39.462,39).
