Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Miss Sweet by Shintaro Miyake. The price achieved of HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,691.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shintaro Miyake achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Path to Egypt in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 412,500.00 (€ 39,462.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2017 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Miss Sweet von Shintaro Miyake zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.691,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shintaro Miyake erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Path to Egypt im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 412.500,00 (€ 39.462,39).
