SHINTARO MIYAKE (B. 1970) Star Sweet Shintaro Wars Live Painting (Study 3) dated in Japanese, titled 'STAR SWEET SHINTARO WARS LIVE PAINTING', titled, inscribed, and signed in Japanese, signed and inscribed 'Shintaro STAR' (on the reverse) coloured pencil, graphite, acrylic, pastel, felt-tip pen and paper collage on paper 113 x 510.7 cm. (44 1/2 x 201 1/8 in.) Executed in 2002
Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Star Sweet Shintaro Wars Live Painting (Study 3) by Shintaro Miyake was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. The price achieved of HKD 47,880.00 (€ 5,737.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shintaro Miyake have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Path to Egypt in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 412,500.00 (€ 39,462.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Star Sweet Shintaro Wars Live Painting (Study 3) von Shintaro Miyake kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 47.880,00 (€ 5.737,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shintaro Miyake auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Path to Egypt im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 412.500,00 (€ 39.462,39).
