Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Straw by Milton Resnick was auctioned at Christies in London in September this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 15,120.00 (€ 14,285.71). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Milton Resnick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ulysses in May this year with an auction result of USD 252,000.00 (€ 236,530.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Straw von Milton Resnick kam im September diesen Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 15.120,00 (€ 14.285,71) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Milton Resnick erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ulysses im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 252.000,00 (€ 236.530,88).
