The result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 44,923.63) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mike Bidlo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Not Picasso (Bather with Beachball, 1932) in May last year with an auction result of USD 1,260,000.00 (€ 1,174,168.30).

Die Arbeit NOT POLLOCK (MURAL 1950) von Mike Bidlo wurde im Juli 2019 in der Auktion First Open | Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 44.923,63) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mike Bidlo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Not Picasso (Bather with Beachball, 1932) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.260.000,00 (€ 1.174.168,30).
