Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Not Pollock by Mike Bidlo was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in London in April 2021. The price achieved of GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,639.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mike Bidlo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Not Picasso (Bather with Beachball, 1932) in May last year with an auction result of USD 1,260,000.00 (€ 1,174,168.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Not Pollock von Mike Bidlo wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.295,00 (€ 2.639,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mike Bidlo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Not Picasso (Bather with Beachball, 1932) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.260.000,00 (€ 1.174.168,30).
