The work The Surface by Michael Raedecker was auctioned at Sothebys in London in February 2014. The auction ended at the price of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 30,331.02), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 22,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michael Raedecker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Frisson in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 138,000.00 (€ 204,580.05).

Die Arbeit The Surface von Michael Raedecker kam im Februar 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 30.331,02) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 22.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Raedecker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Frisson im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 138.000,00 (€ 204.580,05).
