This artwork by Michael Raedecker achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in March 2018. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Somewhere sold for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,194.30) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michael Raedecker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Frisson in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 138,000.00 (€ 204,580.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 77 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Michael Raedecker erzielte im März 2018 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Somewhere für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.194,30) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Raedecker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Frisson im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 138.000,00 (€ 204.580,05).
