Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Watch What Happens by Michael Raedecker was sold in the First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction at Christies in London in July 2020. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,154.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Raedecker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Frisson in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 138,000.00 (€ 204,580.05).
