Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unknown pleasures by Michael Raedecker was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in December 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 10,080.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Raedecker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Frisson in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 138,000.00 (€ 204,580.05).
