Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Fix by Michael Raedecker for USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,637.92). This price was achieved in the auction First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Raedecker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Frisson in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 138,000.00 (€ 204,580.05).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Fix von Michael Raedecker für USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.637,92) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Raedecker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Frisson im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 138.000,00 (€ 204.580,05).
