Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Immortality by Michael Raedecker was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,194.30) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Michael Raedecker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Frisson in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 138,000.00 (€ 204,580.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Immortality von Michael Raedecker kam im März 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.194,30) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Raedecker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Frisson im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 138.000,00 (€ 204.580,05).
