Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Rivelazione by Matteo Pugliese. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,388.00) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Matteo Pugliese have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Samurai in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,638,000.00 (€ 175,373.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rivelazione von Matteo Pugliese zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 22.388,00) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Matteo Pugliese auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Samurai im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.638.000,00 (€ 175.373,57).
