Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Suspended Pieces Of Now And Then by Martin Boyce was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art (Day Auction) auction at Christies in London in February 2013. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,615.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Martin Boyce have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 46,876.05).

Die Arbeit Suspended Pieces Of Now And Then von Martin Boyce wurde im Februar 2013 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art (Day Auction) bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.615,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Martin Boyce auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 46.876,05).
