Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2021 VAN HAM in Cologne held the auction Thinking in 3 Dimensions | ONLINE ONLY, which included the work Chair (noir). by Martin Boyce. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,083.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Martin Boyce achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 46,876.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2021 führte VAN HAM in Köln die Auktion Thinking in 3 Dimensions | ONLINE ONLY durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chair (noir). von Martin Boyce zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.083,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Martin Boyce erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 46.876,05).
