Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Martin Boyce could be acquired at Sothebys in London in March 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Bear Witness | #SothebysBearWitness auction, the work We Fade In The Sun And Shine In The Lamplight (This Place Pours Out Of Us) changed hands for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 11,233.24) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Martin Boyce have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 46,876.05).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
