Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work I & Ii. Untitled by Martin Boyce for GBP 375.00 (€ 445.32). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Martin Boyce achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 46,876.05).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit I & Ii. Untitled von Martin Boyce für GBP 375,00 (€ 445,32) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Martin Boyce erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 46.876,05).
