The work Rhythm 10 by Marina Abramović was sold in the First Open Post -War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in September 2008. The »bidding war« ended at USD 25,000.00 (€ 17,754.42), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marina Abramović achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Life in October 2020 with an auction result of GBP 287,500.00 (€ 319,244.23).

Die Arbeit Rhythm 10 von Marina Abramović wurde im September 2008 in der Auktion First Open Post -War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 17.754,42) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marina Abramović erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Life im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 287.500,00 (€ 319.244,23).
