Despite a disappointment, a good price for Marina Abramović
In October 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work The Life by Marina Abramović for GBP 287,500.00 (€ 319,244.23). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Evening Sale at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 400,000.00 – 800,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, The Life is the most expensive artwork by Marina Abramović that we have observed at auction so far.

Im Oktober 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Life von Marina Abramović für GBP 287.500,00 (€ 319.244,23) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Evening Sale bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400.000,00 – 800.000,00.
