Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Black Ram) by Marc Swanson for USD 22,500.00 (€ 18,089.73). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Marc Swanson have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2012 by the work Untitled (Black Full Sneak) at USD 45,000.00 (€ 33,748.31).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Black Ram) von Marc Swanson für USD 22.500,00 (€ 18.089,73) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Marc Swanson wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im März 2012 die Arbeit Untitled (Black Full Sneak) mit USD 45.000,00 (€ 33.748,31).
