Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Marc Swanson could be acquired at Sothebys in Online in March 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Untitled, 2008 changed hands for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,087.66) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marc Swanson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Black Full Sneak) in March 2012 with an auction result of USD 45,000.00 (€ 33,748.31).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marc Swanson konnte im März 2018 bei Sothebys in Online für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Untitled, 2008 für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.087,66) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marc Swanson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Black Full Sneak) im März 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 45.000,00 (€ 33.748,31).
