Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Manabu Mabe was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2018. The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,066.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Manabu Mabe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 75,373.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Manabu Mabe kam im September 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.066,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manabu Mabe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 75.373,85).
