Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Online: NYC, which included the work Horses by Manabu Mabe. The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,008.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Manabu Mabe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 75,373.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Online: NYC durch, in der auch die Arbeit Horses von Manabu Mabe zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.008,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manabu Mabe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 75.373,85).
