This artwork by Manabu Mabe achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in August 2020. In the Latin American Art Online auction, the work without title sold for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,283.51) - well above the upper estimate of USD 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manabu Mabe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 75,373.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Manabu Mabe erzielte im August 2020 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Latin American Art Online wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.283,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manabu Mabe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 75.373,85).
