This work without title by Manabu Mabe was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2018. The result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 32,467.53) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Manabu Mabe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November 2014 for USD 93,750.00 (€ 75,373.85).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Manabu Mabe wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 32.467,53) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Manabu Mabe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November 2014 für USD 93.750,00 (€ 75.373,85) versteigert wurde.
