The work Swarm of Thoughts by Louise Fishman was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in New York in November 2014. The »bidding war« ended at USD 31,250.00 (€ 25,124.62), 56% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Louise Fishman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Burnt Bridges in March last year with an auction result of USD 201,600.00 (€ 181,736.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Swarm of Thoughts von Louise Fishman wurde im November 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 25.124,62) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louise Fishman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Burnt Bridges im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 201.600,00 (€ 181.736,23).
