Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Louise Fishman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in November 2021. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale - Morning Session auction, the work Angle of Repose sold for USD 28,980.00 (€ 25,675.56) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Louise Fishman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Burnt Bridges in March last year with an auction result of USD 201,600.00 (€ 181,736.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Louise Fishman erzielte im November 2021 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale - Morning Session wurde die Arbeit Angle of Repose für USD 28.980,00 (€ 25.675,56) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louise Fishman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Burnt Bridges im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 201.600,00 (€ 181.736,23).
