The »bidding war« ended at USD 52,812.50 (€ 46,790.56), 51% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Louise Fishman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Burnt Bridges, which sold at auction in March last year for USD 201,600.00 (€ 181,736.23).

Für andere Arbeiten von Louise Fishman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Burnt Bridges beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für USD 201.600,00 (€ 181.736,23) versteigert wurde.
