Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Bridge Repairs (Repairing Brooklyn Bridge) by Louis Lozowick. The »bidding war« ended at USD 7,012.00 (€ 6,056.84), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Lozowick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pittsburgh in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 386,500.00 (€ 304,474.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bridge Repairs (Repairing Brooklyn Bridge) von Louis Lozowick zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 7.012,00 (€ 6.056,84) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Lozowick erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pittsburgh im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 386.500,00 (€ 304.474,55).
