Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Through Brooklyn Bridge Cables by Louis Lozowick was sold in the Tales of the City: New York Prints and Photographs of the Early 20th Century auction at Christies in Sydney in August this year. The price achieved of USD 4,032.00 (€ 3,719.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Lozowick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pittsburgh in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 386,500.00 (€ 304,474.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Through Brooklyn Bridge Cables von Louis Lozowick wurde im August diesen Jahres in der Auktion Tales of the City: New York Prints and Photographs of the Early 20th Century bei Christies in Sydney versteigert.
