It achieved a price of USD 2,295.00 (€ 1,982.38), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 53%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Lozowick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pittsburgh in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 386,500.00 (€ 304,474.55).

Die Arbeit Blast Furnaces von Louis Lozowick kam im September 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 2.295,00 (€ 1.982,38) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 53%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Lozowick erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pittsburgh im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 386.500,00 (€ 304.474,55).
