Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Unknown Liquid - A-1 by Liu Yujun. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 6,733.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liu Yujun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans titre in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 35,050.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unknown Liquid - A-1 von Liu Yujun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 6.733,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liu Yujun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans titre im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 35.050,00.
