This artwork by Liu Yujun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in January 2019. In the More auction, the work Sans Titre - 2006 sold for EUR 8,450.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liu Yujun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans titre in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 35,050.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Liu Yujun erzielte im Januar 2019 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion More wurde die Arbeit Sans Titre - 2006 für EUR 8.450,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liu Yujun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans titre im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 35.050,00.
