Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unknown Liquid by Liu Yujun was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2016. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,895.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Yujun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans titre in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 35,050.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Unknown Liquid von Liu Yujun kam im September 2016 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.895,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Yujun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans titre im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 35.050,00.
