The work Kalo by Lita Cabellut was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2017. The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,673.77) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lita Cabellut achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Charlie Chaplin in October 2013 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 70,919.52).

Die Arbeit Kalo von Lita Cabellut kam im März 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.673,77) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lita Cabellut erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Charlie Chaplin im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 70.919,52).
