Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Nadia by Lita Cabellut. The price achieved of USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,703.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lita Cabellut achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Charlie Chaplin in October 2013 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 70,919.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nadia von Lita Cabellut zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.703,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lita Cabellut erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Charlie Chaplin im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 70.919,52).
