Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Lita Cabellut could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Asia+ / First Open auction, the work Unknown changed hands for HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,118.12) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lita Cabellut achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Charlie Chaplin in October 2013 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 70,919.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lita Cabellut konnte im Oktober 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Asia+ / First Open wechselte die Arbeit Unknown für HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.118,12) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lita Cabellut erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Charlie Chaplin im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 70.919,52).
