Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Flag, Venice by Li Wei for GBP 625.00 (€ 785.16). This price was achieved in the auction Saturday@Phillips at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Wei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Freedegree Over 29Th Story, Soho, Beijing, 2003 in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 14,310.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Flag, Venice von Li Wei für GBP 625,00 (€ 785,16) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Saturday@Phillips bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Wei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Freedegree Over 29Th Story, Soho, Beijing, 2003 im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 14.310,49).
