Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Li Wei Falls To The Car by Li Wei was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,250.00 (€ 1,891.07). Admittedly, works by Li Wei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Freedegree Over 29Th Story, Soho, Beijing, 2003 in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 14,310.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Li Wei Falls To The Car von Li Wei kam im November 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.250,00 (€ 1.891,07) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Li Wei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Freedegree Over 29Th Story, Soho, Beijing, 2003 im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 14.310,49).
