In October 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Online | New York, which included the work Landscape by Leonardo Nierman. The »bidding war« ended at USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,689.38), 50% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Leonardo Nierman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Aurora Borealis (Artic Sunrise) sold at auction in October 2010 with the realized price of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,598.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Leonardo Nierman zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.689,38) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Leonardo Nierman; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Aurora Borealis (Artic Sunrise) im Oktober 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.598,68).
