In April 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Interiors, which included this untitled work by Leonardo Nierman. The result of USD 1,000.00 (€ 895.90) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Leonardo Nierman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aurora Borealis (Artic Sunrise) in October 2010 with an auction result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,598.68).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im April 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Interiors durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Leonardo Nierman zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 1.000,00 (€ 895,90) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leonardo Nierman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aurora Borealis (Artic Sunrise) im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.598,68).
