The work Impromptu by Leonardo Nierman was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in June 2011. It achieved a price of USD 2,125.00 (€ 1,463.20), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 42%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leonardo Nierman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Aurora Borealis (Artic Sunrise), which sold at auction in October 2010 for USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,598.68).

Die Arbeit Impromptu von Leonardo Nierman wurde im Juni 2011 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 2.125,00 (€ 1.463,20) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42%. Für andere Arbeiten von Leonardo Nierman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Aurora Borealis (Artic Sunrise) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2010 für USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.598,68) versteigert wurde.
