The work Bird in Flight by Leonardo Nierman was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in July 2010. It achieved a price of USD 2,500.00 (€ 1,912.92), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Leonardo Nierman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Aurora Borealis (Artic Sunrise) sold at auction in October 2010 with the realized price of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,598.68).

Die Arbeit Bird in Flight von Leonardo Nierman wurde im Juli 2010 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 1.912,92) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Leonardo Nierman; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Aurora Borealis (Artic Sunrise) im Oktober 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.598,68).
