A top price for Leonardo Nierman - as previously expected
In October 2010 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian and Latin American Art, which included the work Aurora Borealis (Artic Sunrise) by Leonardo Nierman. The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,598.68) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Aurora Borealis (Artic Sunrise) is the most expensive artwork by Leonardo Nierman that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2010 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian and Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Aurora Borealis (Artic Sunrise) von Leonardo Nierman zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.598,68) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Aurora Borealis (Artic Sunrise) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Leonardo Nierman, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
