This artwork by Lee Lozano achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in May this year. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Morning Session auction, the work without title sold for USD 38,100.00 (€ 35,761.22) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lee Lozano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work No title in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 602,500.00 (€ 462,181.65).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Lee Lozano erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Morning Session wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 38.100,00 (€ 35.761,22) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lee Lozano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit No title im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 602.500,00 (€ 462.181,65).
