Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Lee Lozano was sold in the First Open Online: Post War & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in December 2021. The price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,731.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lee Lozano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work No title in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 602,500.00 (€ 462,181.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lee Lozano wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion First Open Online: Post War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.731,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lee Lozano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit No title im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 602.500,00 (€ 462.181,65).
