Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2018 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work The Evolution of Man by Lee Lozano. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,236.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lee Lozano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work No title in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 602,500.00 (€ 462,181.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2018 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Evolution of Man von Lee Lozano zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.236,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lee Lozano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit No title im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 602.500,00 (€ 462.181,65).
