In March 2019 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Wrapping Bonbon Rouge by Laurence Jenkell. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 112,500.00 (€ 130,575.35), 61% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Laurence Jenkell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bonbon Aluminum Polimiroir, which sold at auction in November 2019 for USD 325,000.00 (€ 294,945.09).

Im März 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wrapping Bonbon Rouge von Laurence Jenkell zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 112.500,00 (€ 130.575,35) und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Laurence Jenkell mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bonbon Aluminum Polimiroir beobachtet, die im November 2019 für USD 325.000,00 (€ 294.945,09) versteigert wurde.
