Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Wrapping Bonbon Jaune by Laurence Jenkell was auctioned at Bonhams in December last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,040.00 (€ 2,302.96). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Laurence Jenkell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bonbon Aluminum Polimiroir in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 325,000.00 (€ 294,945.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Wrapping Bonbon Jaune von Laurence Jenkell kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.040,00 (€ 2.302,96) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Laurence Jenkell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bonbon Aluminum Polimiroir im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 325.000,00 (€ 294.945,09).
